McGrath Estate Wedding

Avid campers and hikers, Sarah & Egor wanted a wedding venue that connected with their love of the outdoors. McGrath Estate fit this to an absolute tee, providing a stunning backdrop of paddocks, bush and a peep of the sea.

The attention to detail at this wedding was incredible. Hours were spent pressing flowers and ferns to be made into signs and cards resulting in a divine merging of botanical and rustic themes. The styling combined with the landscape and rustic barn was a match made in heaven!

In homage to Egor’s Russian heritage, cultural elements were intertwined into the day with dress ups, Karavay bread ritual and games during the evening making for a very entertaining reception! I absolutely loved capturing this amazing day and working with Sarah and Egor to bring their vision to life.

Kind words

“We hired Samantha to capture our wedding in March 2021. Her photography style was exactly what we were looking for – natural, emotional, and thoughtful. Even from first contact, Samantha was very polite, knowledgeable, and easy going. She responded quickly to our emails, considered our many requests, and tended to our concerns. Using her expertise in the industry, she helped us structure our day to ensure no photo opportunity was missed. Samantha really is a master at what she does, and we felt we were in good hands right from the get-go.

On the big day she arrived bang on time, armed with a camera in each hand, and full of energy and enthusiasm. She quickly and quietly made her way around the venue capturing special moments that we, as the bride and groom, were too busy to see. We don’t know how she does it but it’s almost like Samantha was in two different places at once! On the day, we felt Samantha was like a good friend rather than a vendor and we really appreciated this as it allowed us to relax, laugh, and be ourselves.”
